Top 10 Under $10

Top 10 Under $10 by ellebeebeauty featuring Rimmel

Hey Everyone!

Before I get started with the good stuff. Let me just say- Hurray for my first blog post *insert happy dance here*. I’m super excited to be starting this blog. It’s something that i’ve always wanted to do! Makeup and beauty is a big passion of mine and i’m so glad I can make a hobby of it. So without further ado, lets get started!

Today I have gathered 10 of my favorite products under $10. These products are all holy grail products to me and I would probably choose these over high end products. Don’t get me wrong, I splurge on certain things in my makeup collection. But sometimes there are just as great and much more affordable makeup products offered at the drugstore.

So here it is, my list of top 10 things under $10:

1. NYX Buttergloss- ($4.99) I cannot rave enough about these! They’re super creamy and make your lips SO soft and velvety feeling. These aren’t sticky or tacky on the lips. I will say, if you’re looking for something SUPER pigmented-these aren’t for you. But if you just want a little bit of color on your lips for daytime, these are perfect! Not to mention they smell like dessert.

2.Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder- ($3.99) If you’re looking for an affordable setting powder that keeps you matte all day, this is your guy.. This powder will keep you matte for pretty much the whole day. I live in south, so its nearly impossible for an oily skinned girl like myself to stay matte the ENTIRE day, but it certainly helps tremendously. The one down side with this powder is that it isn’t travel friendly. The packaging on this guy really lacks convenience. Theres no mirror and the plastic cap tends to crack after a few uses. It’s one of the best powders I’ve used, and for the price who can beat it??

3.Covergirl Lash Blast- ($7.99) Mascaras are the one thing I LOVE to buy at the drugstore. I could go on for days about drugstore mascaras, but ill save that for another post.. CG Lash Blast has been my ride or die mascara and its always one I come back to. The formula is amazing, it doesn’t go on too wet but it also doesn’t dry super quick. It does an amazing job of separating the lashes AND giving you volume at the same time. Most volumizing mascaras tend to clump, but the bristles on this wand prevent it from doing that.

4.Maybelline Baby Lips- ($2.99-$4.99) This product should be no secret to anyone. Not only does the packaging on these little guys make my heart skip a beat, but the actual product is amazing! My lips are consistently chapped or dry and this stuff is a life saver. As weird as this sounds, some lip balms can be drying on my lips. This stuff instantly hydrates and smoothes out my lips. Plus most of these have spf in them as well, so I always keep one stashed in my beach bag.

5.NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil- ($3.50) Okay, so hear me out on this one. I love these for the simple fact of #1- how cheap they are and #2- the color selection. The formula on these aren’t the best of the best, but they also aren’t the worse. I would compare them to Mac lip pencils (which aren’t the best either). But much like MAC lip pencils, the reason I keep buying these is the color selection. In fact, NYX has quite a few color dupes for MAC and they’re a fraction of the price! You really can’t beat it.

6.L’oréal Infallible 24 hour Eye shadow ($7.99) Can we just have a moment of silence for these eye shadows….. Seriously INSANELY good. Bravo L’Oréal, Bravo! These are so pigmented and velvety to the touch. I recommend using your finger to apply these. My personal favorite is Iced Latte. Its the perfect color to pop on the eye lid to really brighten up the look. Just stop what you’re doing right now and do yourself a favor and go buy these. You can thank me later.

7.Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Bronzer- ($3.99) This is one product that I’m surprised to not hear more about. First off let me say, I do not use this as a bronzer. When you look at this product it is very light in color with a hint of sheen. I know of some people use this as a setting powder all over their face for a slight glow to the skin. Since I’m more on the the oily side, I only use it in the areas I want to highlight (top of my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose). It isn’t something thats going to be super noticeable but it will give you a nice subtle glow. I use this as my everyday highlighter, it just makes for a nice natural look.

8.Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner- ($3.99) I won’t go too in depth about this product, but I did want to include it because it is always a go-to product for me. I actually reach for this over my high end eyeliners. The formula is super creamy and long lasting. It glides right on without any pull to your eye lid.

9.N.Y.C Liquid Eyeliner- ($2.99) Yes, you read the price of this correctly.. $2.99!! Not to mention the eyeliner itself is amazing! The wand will give you the control and precision you need. And the formula of this drys matte, which seems nearly impossible to come by with liquid liners. It’s just a win all around!

10.Maybelline Fit Me Concealer-($4-$7) Last but certainly not least! This is my newest all time favorite concealer and i’m sure i’m not the first person you have heard this from. Concealers are also something I am perfectly content with buying at the drugstore. I’ve tried out many high-end concealers, only to find out that drugstore concealers can do the same thing if not better. This Concealer is hands down the best for under-eye concealing and spot concealing (blemishes). The reason I love it so much is the formula of it isn’t super thick. It blends out amazing, yet the coverage and pigmentation is on point.

Well that wraps up my top 10 under & $10.

Let me know what your favorite products are! I would love to hear from you.

Talk to you all soon! <3
